Can you survive in the wild! Sleep under the star in our large bell tents! Our residential can be run from a locally organised location to save travel costs or from further afield or alternatively within the grounds of your school.

At GoWild Outdoors we want to give you and your students an adventure experience with a difference– all for a much lower cost than a traditional school residential!
Our residentials are designed for both primary and secondary schools. We have a range of activities to keep you and your children busy all day, all of which are delivered and are pitched age appropriate. Our camp programmes with built-in flexibility so that the students and the school staff have time to enjoy the camping experience.

Our Bushcraft survival residentials are run by a team of experienced instructors who look after you during your stay, including providing a member of the team for 24-hour support for your school and students during your stay.

Residential Activities

Throughout your stay we pack in everything to keep your students busy with our programme of activities.

We want your students to participate in a range of engaging activities that are challenging and fun. We want students to be self-sufficient and take responsibility for themselves. During residential trip students will develop skills of communication, teamwork, and personal development. They will test their skills and develop resilience.

Some of the activities they will take part in (but are NOT limited to) are:

Our Residentials can run for anything from one to five days

Duration:
2 days, 1 night
3 days, 2 nights
5 days, 4 nights

For ages: 7-14 Years

Seasons: April–July & Sept–Oct

  • Tents Building
  • Archery
  • Axe Throwing (age dependant)
  • Survival skills – shelter building, primitive fire lighting
  • Whittling and other woodland crafts
  • Paracord Bracelet making.
  • Problem solving and team building activities.
  • Open fire cooking
  • End of day campfire with marshmallows and s’more
  • Games

Finish each day with a roaring campfire - time to reflect on the days events

To finish off each day there will be a roaring campfire, where the students can reflect on their experiences of the day and sing songs and finish off with a marshmallow s’more on the fire.

All our meals are cooked and freshly prepared on-site every day and used locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. On every trip, the students will also have the chance to cook their own food, using traditional Bushcraft methods.

We tailor make each trip so prices can vary, depending on factors such as dates and student numbers. The below can be used as a guideline of average price for each residential trip.
